LORGAR gaming keyboards – mechanical and wireless
Number of products: 16A keyboard is the one part of your setup you touch for the whole session, and the one that competes with your mouse for desk space. So the choice starts with size: a full layout with a number pad, TKL without it, or the compact 75% and 65% formats that free up several centimetres of desk. Next come the switches, and whether you want a cable or wireless operation. Every LORGAR model is mechanical, has RGB backlighting and works with LORGAR PLATFORM. Use the filters on the left — and below the listing you will find the full buying guide and answers to the most common questions.

How to choose a gaming keyboard
Four things decide a gaming keyboard: size, switches, connection and keycaps. Backlighting, displays and knobs are additions to those four, not reasons to buy.
Size, or how much room is left for the mouse
The format tells you which blocks the keyboard leaves out. A full layout has the number pad and dedicated arrow keys — around 104 keys. TKL (tenkeyless) is the same layout without the number pad: it frees several centimetres on the right, which you notice on every wide sweep if you play at low mouse sensitivity. The 75% format packs the function row and arrows close together, and 65% drops the F row entirely, moving its functions to a layer under the Fn key. The smaller the format, the more desk space you gain — and the more actions you trigger with a shortcut instead of a single key. If you enter numbers daily or work in spreadsheets, a full layout beats a 65% board no matter how good the smaller one looks.
Switches
Every LORGAR keyboard is mechanical. Each product page gives the switch its own name plus four figures that tell you more than the name does: actuation force in grams (how hard you press), actuation point in millimetres (how deep the key registers), total travel distance, and rated lifespan. LORGAR uses linear switches — they press evenly, with no tactile step and no click, which makes them quiet and well suited to fast, repeated presses. Some models ship pre-lubed, which quietens the movement further. Rated lifespan is counted in tens of millions of clicks per key.
Hot-swap, or changing switches without soldering
On some models the switches sit in sockets and come out with a puller — no soldering iron, no opening the case. That means one keyboard can move from heavier switches to lighter ones if, a few months in, you decide you prefer a different resistance. LORGAR includes spare switches and a puller with those models. If this matters to you, look for it in the model description — not every keyboard has it.
Connection: cable, 2.4 GHz or Bluetooth
LORGAR's wireless models work in three modes, and they are not interchangeable. The 2.4 GHz receiver plugs into a USB port — that is the mode for gaming, because it works independently of whatever else your system's Bluetooth is doing. Bluetooth is useful for a tablet, a work laptop or a second computer you would rather not add another receiver to. The USB-C cable charges and carries the signal at the same time, so a flat battery does not end the session. Wired keyboards drop out of this decision and give you a lower price and nothing to charge in return.
Keycaps and construction
Keycaps decide how the keyboard looks after a year. PBT is harder than the common ABS and takes much longer to develop shine, and a double-shot legend is part of the keycap rather than a layer printed on top — it cannot wear off. Some LORGAR models have side-printed legends, which changes how the backlighting reads. Construction affects sound too: a gasket mount seats the plate on flexible elements rather than rigidly against the case, so each press sounds softer and less hollow.
Backlighting versus battery life
Worth knowing before you buy: on wireless models, switching the backlighting on shortens battery life several times over, not by a few percent. That is why LORGAR publishes both figures separately in the specification. If you play at a desk within reach of a cable, the lighting is free. If the keyboard travels with you, check the runtime with RGB, not the longer number.
Key layout — an important note for buyers in Poland
LORGAR keyboards use the English QWERTY (US) layout. There is no version with Polish legends. Polish characters are typed the standard way, by setting the "Polish (programmers)" layout in the operating system and using the right Alt key — the printed legends stay English. For most people this is a non-issue, but if you type a lot of text and are used to looking at the keys, factor it in before ordering.
What sets LORGAR keyboards apart
LORGAR is a gaming brand belonging to the ASBIS group, and lorgar.pl is its official store — you buy directly, with no reseller in between. In the manufacturer's own words, "every product that bears the LORGAR™ name, regardless of tier, is crafted to meet exacting European standards."
Three things recur across the keyboard range. First, LORGAR PLATFORM — one free Windows application for every device of the brand, instead of a separate program for each. It handles macros, key remapping, per-game profiles that switch automatically when a title launches, and lighting synchronised with the rest of your setup. The app is optional: LORGAR devices are plug and play and need no drivers. Second, what is in the box — beyond the keyboard you get a set of extras that varies by model: a puller and spare switches on hot-swap boards, replacement keycaps, a brush, a carrying bag, a keychain, a cup coaster. Third, a link to the esports scene: LORGAR is official technical partner to three esports organisations and states that "their feedback comes back to us as product revisions — a closed loop between the scene and engineering."
Every keyboard carries a 24-month manufacturer warranty, verified by serial number.
Frequently asked questions
Which format should I choose — 65%, 75%, TKL or full-size?
Start from how much room you want to leave the mouse and whether you use the number pad. FPS players on low sensitivity usually pick TKL or smaller, because they gain space for wide movements. If you work with numbers, stay with a full layout. 75% is a sensible compromise — compact, but it keeps the function row and the arrow keys.
What is the difference between linear, tactile and clicky switches?
A linear switch presses evenly through the whole travel. A tactile switch has a noticeable step at the actuation point; a clicky one adds an audible click on top of that. LORGAR uses linear switches — quiet and predictable under fast, repeated presses.
Can I change the switches for different ones?
On hot-swap models yes, with no soldering — the switches come out with the puller included in the box. Check the description of the model you are considering; not every keyboard has this.
What is the difference between 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth?
2.4 GHz needs the receiver plugged into a USB port and is the mode intended for gaming. Bluetooth needs no receiver and conveniently pairs the keyboard with a tablet or laptop. LORGAR's wireless models support both, and also work over a USB-C cable.
Does the keyboard work while charging?
Yes. The USB-C cable charges and carries the signal at the same time, so a flat battery does not interrupt a session.
Does RGB backlighting shorten battery life?
Considerably — on wireless models the difference between running with and without RGB is several-fold. Both figures are listed separately in each model's specification. The lighting can be dimmed or switched off.
Do LORGAR keyboards have a Polish layout?
No. All models use the English QWERTY (US) layout. Polish characters are typed by setting the "Polish (programmers)" layout in the system and using the right Alt key; the printed legends remain English.
Do I have to install LORGAR PLATFORM?
No. The keyboard works as soon as you plug it in, with no drivers. PLATFORM is a free application for Windows 10 and 11 that adds macros, key remapping, game profiles and lighting synchronisation. It works only with LORGAR devices.
What does NKRO mean?
N-key rollover — the keyboard registers simultaneously pressed keys regardless of how many there are or which combination they form. In practice it means a complicated shortcut executed mid-movement registers in full.
What is the warranty, and what do I do if the keyboard fails?
The manufacturer's warranty runs 24 months from purchase and is verified by serial number. Separately from it, we are liable for the goods' conformity with the contract for 2 years from delivery. Send your claim to info@lorgar.pl — details and forms are on the Complaints and returns page.
Can I return the keyboard if it does not suit me?
Yes. You have 14 days from receiving the parcel to withdraw from the purchase without giving a reason. The rules and the form are set out in Complaints and returns, and the order terms and available payment methods — bank transfer, card, Autopay, BLIK, cash on delivery — in the Shop regulations.
